Alabama.

The number of deaths from a massive and destructive tornado in Alabama is up to over 230. I watched a video clip of the storm and my mind was blown by the immensity of it! Please pray for the families who lost loved ones, and all lose who lost all of their material possessions as well! The weather has been yucky here, but we should all be very grateful that our family and friends are safe!

LOG LEVEN. April 21, 2011

Today, we all broke up into our groups and got to work!
Group Oil sat in silence as we were all diligently getting our website in top conditions.

The rest of the class seems to be working very hard as well.
McArdle has shown some students their grades and how many blogs/comments they have posted so far in the semester. There should be 32 blog posts as well as 32 comments, so if you're below that number...GET TO POSTING!

On another note, I've been looking up a lot of whale pictures:

R1V3R M0N$T3R$!

Ignore that title. I've just always wanted to try typing something like that.
Just bought an energy drink, sat down to do some of my business law case review, and flipped on the show 'River Monsters' which plays on the Animal planet (a.k.a. the only station me & the roomie's TV is ever on)

If you've never had the pleasure of watching River Monsters, I'm really sorry. It's a great show.
River Monsters is hosted by the badass, Jeremy Wade. Jeremy Wade travels the World and explores fresh water wildlife mysteries and myths. He even goes into folklore of certain areas. Anyhow, he finds a bunch of scary and dangerous 'river monsters' and educates you about them at the same time. CONVENIENT!

I suggest if any of us ever have free time again, you sit down and give it a looksie!
Have a good tuesday, and a GREAT wednesday classmates/teacher!

LOG TEN. Tuesday April 19, 2011

It's raining today, and we're all sitting here in English class. Two of my favorite things.
So far today,
-McArdle has tried to make Tom smile/laugh.
-Amanda read her logs, we all clapped
- and we learned about course evaluations that we'll do next week. Mwahahahahahahaahah!!!
Now we're all going into our separate groups to work on our multimodal projects! Go group OIL ALL DUH WAYYYY! (And good luck to everyone else!)

Going back to Oahu. Don't expect to see me in class Tuesday. That is all.

Giving up!

I'm really trying, despite what every teacher I have may think.
I do care, and put effort into my assignments, but the comments always involve the words: 'disappointed' ''try harder' 'care' 'not giving your best' 'expected more'

I don't know what to do anymore? I've been discouraged to the point of hopelessness.
I'll be failing my classes, losing scholarships, moving home, hell...I'm probably not even caught up on my blogs I've posted.

I know this is a bunch of ranting, but I don't know how to get this stress off of my shoulders. I've prayed and prayed and prayed, talked to advisers, and even tried meeting with my teachers outside of class. It's like I've come to the end of the road.
I really hope you guys are not nearly as stressed! Love you classmates!

Facebook DRAAAMMMAAA

Never thought I'd be involved in any.
But yesterday must have been my lucky day, because I was called some of the nastiest names someone could think of.
And for what?
Sticking up for someone.
My facebook 'friend' Justin started posting a video of him beating the tar out of my friend Luke, on EVERYONE'S wall. I'm talking about completely wailing on him (I couldn't even watch the video when I realized what it was because it was that bad) So I asked Justin if he could maybe not post that on everyone's facebook wall, seeing as I thought it was very rude and hurtful towards Luke.

NEGATORY!!!

I guess my request called for immature personal attacks towards me.
Bravo Justin, when we meet up for an asshole competition, you'll probably beat me :(
